 GBOA’s Slam Dunk Contests have showcased some of the brightest stars around on their quests to follow in the footsteps of Dominique Wilkins, Vince Carter and Dwight Howard. GBOA’s stars have put on a displayss of eye popping, jaw dropping abilities, not unlike what you've seen in the NBA. Yeah, these guys are that good. If you don't believe us, check out the video. The GBOA Slam Dunk Contests took place on the Saturday night of each tournament. With all eyes on center court, fans witnessed the gravity-defying performances of the top dunkers in the tournament. Each player got two dunks in the opening round, with the top two scorers going head to head in the final. Reigning Champion Clarence Trent of the Arkansas Hawks returned to GBOA to defend his title in the South Regional and passed the test with flying colors. He'll move on to meet the rest of the regional winners in the Challenge of Champions, and he will certainly be tested. Jeremy Tyler's 360 dunk over the GBOA banner blew us all away... Can't wait to see what these guys come up with next! |
